My AWS journey has focused on gaining practical experience by designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and improving cloud infrastructure. Every project has been built in my own AWS environment with an emphasis on learning cloud operations rather than simply following tutorials.
Completed Projects
- Designed and deployed my personal portfolio website on an Amazon EC2 Linux web server.
- Installed and configured Apache to host a custom HTML/CSS website.
- Migrated the website from EC2 to a serverless architecture using Amazon S3.
- Configured Amazon CloudFront for secure global content delivery.
- Implemented Origin Access Control (OAC) to prevent direct public access to the S3 bucket.
- Registered and configured the custom domain LojoCloud.dev using Amazon Route 53.
- Configured HTTPS using AWS Certificate Manager.
- Created CloudFront cache invalidation workflows for website deployments.
- Configured AWS CLI for local administration and deployments.
- Built an isolated AWS VPC lab with public and private subnets.
- Configured Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, route tables, and security groups.
- Implemented IAM users, groups, policies, and least-privilege permissions.
- Integrated my Linux home server with Amazon CloudWatch Logs.
- Configured CloudWatch Agent to centralize Linux system logging.
- Troubleshot IAM permission issues, DNS configuration, CloudFront caching, SSH connectivity, and Linux permissions.

Current Focus
I continue expanding my AWS knowledge through hands-on projects while preparing for the AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate certification. Current areas of focus include:

What's Next
Future projects will focus on building increasingly production-like AWS environments including Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, advanced monitoring, and security-focused cloud operations.
